I just realized I haven't done one of these posts in a few weeks & that just ain't cool...
When I first discovered nail blogs about a year ago, this was one of the first ones I stumbled upon and I was instantly addicted. Ladies (and gentlemen?) I present to you: ANOTHER Bottle of Polish?!.... cute name, right?
The main reasons I love this blog are as follows:
1) The author has the most beautiful, graceful long nail beds & pretty, tapered fingers. She is seriously my nails idol. What I wouldn't give for such gorgeous tips!
2) Her pics are always bright and crystal clear.
3) She's got impeccable taste. I basically LOVE every last color she rocks. She makes every polish she wears "to die for"...probably has something to do with those gorgeous nail beds. Also, her application is always absolutely flawless.
4) Her nail art is uh-MAZE-ing. NO ONE does water marble better. Also, I love that she uses some unconventional materials in her art--like temporary tattoos and rub-ons for scrapbooking. Her nail art creations are always adorable and perfectly done.
5) She makes KILLER frankens. Seriously. She's a wizard with the glittah!
6) When a new month starts, she always does a post she calls "Monthly Mani-fest," which is a pic-laden summary of every polish she wore the month before. Now us nail-philes have an absolute need for gawwgeous pic spam to drool over and these posts fulfill that need like no other!
So basically, to sum it up, if you are looking to coo over perfectly applied polish on naturally beautiful nails, look no further than ABOP. Hers is truly a nail blog of AWESOMENESS ::::echoing awesomeness awesomeness awesomeness::::

This week's Blog of Awesomeness is (drumroll please)...
Loodie Loodie Loodie, or, as I like to call her, a living, breathing nail care encyclopedia. You see, Loodie isn't just ANY nail blogger. She's a nail blogger who is a SCIENTIST and she busts that science out all over her blog, all in hopes to teach her readers how to care for their nails.
Don't think that, just because Loodie is all sciency that her blog is a boring read--quite the contrary. She's funny as hell as well as amazingly knowledgeable and her posts will learn ya something and entertain you all at the same time! Got a nail break? Loodie will tell ya how to fix it. Dealing with peelies? Loodie will teach you what peelies are, why they happen and how to deal with them. Ever been curious about the anatomy of the nail? Go read Loodie. Wanna know what fat nails are? Loodie Loodie Loodie--she's got the scoop.

Blogs of Awesomeness
One of the things I thought I could do with this blog is a weekly post featuring a blog that I love. For my inaugural Blogs of Awesomeness post, I could choose no other but my bargain beauty bible, Nouveau Cheap!
G, as the author of Nouveau Cheap calls herself, has been my makeup guru ever since I first stumbled upon her awesome blog about a year ago. If you are like me and you don't have a whole lot of money to throw around, then the info that Nouveau Cheap contains is a godsend. I can truly say it has helped me locate the best of the best for less when it comes to beauty products
To put it in her own words (quoted from her profile here on Blogger) G is, " a consumer with three decades of product obsession under my belt and love to scour the drugstores, dollar stores, big box stores, etc. to find quality beauty products with friendly price tags. I try to provide my readers with as much info as possible so that they can make an informed decision when they make a purchase"...and she delivers on all fronts! She does the BEST, most thorough, well thought out and composed reviews of products (both new stuff and classic drugstore standby beauty products) and her pictures and swatches are impeccable. Thanks to her, I was able to locate my HG (holy grail--or makeup junkie speak for "awesomest, most bestest can't live without it") powder foundation, pen-style liquid eyeliner, and so many other products that I now use regularly and love (of course, it does help that she and I have a lot in common when it comes to complexion and skin type).
Two features of G's blog that I find absolutely indispensable:
1) her weekly drugstore beauty sales. Basically, every week, she pulls together all the details of every beauty sale that CVS, Riteaid and Walgreens are running and summarizes all the deals for you in a handy-dandy bullet-point format. I literally go out with those posts pulled up on my smartphone and scour the aisles--it's become a frickin ritual for me! She also is dedicated to schooling her readers on how to use each drugstore's rewards program (Xtra Up Register Reward whatsit?? if you're confused as to which store does what, G will set ya straight).
2) her interactive sightings map for ever elusive Wet n Wild limited edition collections. Basically, what I'm talking about is a map of the entire frickin country with little pinpoints that G asks her readers to place indicated where said readers have spotted these much coveted collections. I have none other than G, her readers and her sightings map to thank for helping me track down Wet n Wild's 2011 Dream Weaver limited edition shadow trios (and you better believe I am eternally grateful)--which is my proudest makeup junkie triumph to date!
