For days now, I've been meaning to swatch the rest of the Spoiled polishes I got but then my cuticles decided to peel and unravel like some God awful Black Swan out-take. No amount of nipple cream or Hoofers' Choice is gonna make these booboos heal up anytime soon, so I'm heading out to Sally's Beauty Supply today to get me some nail wheels. The swatching must go on!!!
All together, I have 9 more bottles of Spoiled nail polish (I can't help but giggle every time I write that) to swatch--this is provided I don't end up bringing home MORE while I'm out running around today (I'd like to rule this out as a complete impossibility but I know myself too well for that)...
I have the SAME problems with my cuticles too because its winter here. Have they gotten any better with new products at all if you purchased any?

I use Lansinoh nipple cream (left over from when I was nursing my son--who knew it had another purpose) as well as Hoofer's Choice from Sally Beauty Supply and I bust out the Burts Bees lemon cuticle balm every now and then too. Let's just say I'm pretty much obsessed with cuticle moisture usually. I've just been neglecting them these past few days & doing lots of housework with no gloves on (we're getting ready to move soon so I gotta scrub this joint down) and now my fingers and nails are paying for it..:-/
DeleteDid you try Bag Balm? I saw it at CVA and it comes in a square green tin. It was made for cow's udders (not just the nipples, mind you, the entire udder!). Not real expensive, kind of stinky, but you get used to it, and it works. What's good for a bovine is good enough for me, I always say. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL i have yet to try Bag Balm but i am a HUGE fan of Udderly Smooth! Not just for udders anymore! :)
DeleteShoot, I mean CVS. I think Wags also has it.
